JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI), the official distributor of Mazda vehicles in Indonesia, announced that the Japanese automaker will unveil three new vehicle models at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.
"This is a very important moment for us at Mazda Indonesia. At GIIAS, we will introduce three new products," said Viya Arsawireja, General Manager of Marketing and Communications at PT EMI, during a media briefing in Jakarta on Wednesday.
However, Mazda Indonesia has not yet disclosed which models will be launched during GIIAS 2026, scheduled to take place from July 30 to August 9, 2026, at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.
At an earlier press conference, the company presented a teaser outlining its upcoming product lineup, which included an all-new Mazda electric vehicle.
The Mazda 6e, marketed as the EZ-6 in China, is currently Mazda's latest battery-electric vehicle.
Equipped with a large-capacity battery, the fastback is claimed to deliver a driving range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge under the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC) standard.
In addition to the all-new electric vehicle, Mazda's teaser also mentioned its First Indonesia-Assembled SUV and the All-New Edition of its Best-Selling SUV.
The Mazda CX-5 has long been one of the brand's best-selling models and has served as the backbone of Mazda's sales in Indonesia for many years.
Mazda Indonesia Chief Operating Officer Ricky Thio confirmed that two of the three new models to be introduced at GIIAS 2026 will be Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
"Two are SUVs, while the third one remains a secret," Ricky said.
Mazda aims to secure 1,500 vehicle orders throughout the GIIAS 2026 exhibition.
