Qaplo (Jakarta) – The Indonesian National Police is continuing to expand its investigation into an international online gambling syndicate uncovered at Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower. After arresting 321 individuals, investigators are now focusing on tracing financial flows, identifying sponsors, and examining the computer equipment used in the illegal operation. Wira Satya Triputra, Director of General Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim), stated that authorities will coordinate with several government agencies to investigate the source of funding as well as the individuals or entities that acted as guarantors or sponsors for the suspects. According to Wira, the investigation is not limited to financial transactions. Authorities are also examining the parties responsible for leasing the building and providing operational facilities for the 321 individuals involved in the online gambling network.
