QAPLO (Jakarta) – Indonesia’s national esports team successfully emerged as the overall champion of the SEA Esports Nations Cup (ENC) 2026 after a dominant performance, securing three gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal at the tournament held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which concluded on Saturday night (May 9). This outstanding achievement makes Indonesia the country with the highest medal tally at the inaugural regional esports event organized by the Southeast Asia Esports Federation (SEAEF). Indonesia’s three gold medals came from PUBG Mobile Solo, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), and Crossfire: Legends. In addition, the Merah Putih squad also secured one silver medal in PUBG Mobile Solo and one bronze medal in PUBG Mobile Duo. “With three gold medals, Indonesia is officially the overall champion of SEA ENC 2026,” said the head coach of Indonesia’s national esports team, Richard Permana, in a message to ANTARA on Sunday. The first medal for Indonesia came from PUBG Mobile Solo, where Alan Raynold Kumaseh delivered an impressive performance to secure the gold medal, while Fazriel Haikal Aditya followed with a silver medal. The two players also performed strongly in the PUBG Mobile Duo category, where Alan and Fazriel secured a bronze medal for Indonesia after a tight competition against other Southeast Asian representatives. Meanwhile, Stefanus Aditya Witjaksono brought home another gold medal for Indonesia in Teamfight Tactics. Known as Adit, he had a slow start after finishing seventh in the first match with only two points. However, Adit managed to recover in the following games and eventually secured the top position, earning the gold medal for Indonesia. “In the second game, I played more patiently in the early game while waiting for my power spike. It was a very tight match, but I managed to win. In the third game, my opening was very strong and I was able to maintain momentum until I became champion,” Adit said. He also shared his preparation before the tournament, which included regular ranked practice, joining TFT study groups with global players, analyzing statistics, and consistently reviewing match VODs. Indonesia’s dominance was further completed when the Crossfire: Legends team secured another gold medal after defeating Vietnam in a dramatic final match. The Indonesian Crossfire: Legends roster consisted of Gede Bagus Panji Narajaya, Ibnu Qayyim Al Jauziah, Kautsar Faruqurrohman Ekatama, Muhammad Ilyas Alfarizi, Riddho Putra Muharam, and Tubagus Mochammad Cipta, under coach Iqbal Mauldhan Yusup. According to the final medal standings of SEA ENC 2026, Indonesia topped the table ahead of host nation Vietnam, which finished second with one gold, three silver, and one bronze medal. Thailand placed third with one gold and one silver, followed by Singapore in fourth with one gold. Malaysia completed the top five with three bronze medals. Meanwhile, the sixth to tenth positions were occupied by the Philippines, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, and Laos. Myanmar finished at the bottom of the medal standings in the SEA Esports Nations Cup 2026.
